- African investment in trade and industry might be encouraged through investment trusts and the Uganda Development Corporation might take the lead in the establishment of such a trust. Companies should also be encouraged to seek African investors. Trading credit between suppliers and African traders will evolve naturally and this evolution will be materially assisted by the personal knowledge of individual traders gained by Government touring officers.
