  • The resignation of many british officials in the Sudan is inevitable sequence of the insistence of Sudanese Prime Minister and his close colleagues on putting what they considered political expediency before the practical task of ensuring to the country the best possible civil service.
  • The principle of appointing competent Sudanese to posts previously held by the britons has been accepted and as a result many men of little ability,judgement ,experience and drive have already succeeded highly trained Britons who had all these and other qualities.
