- Rais Moi asema kwamba kiongozi yeyote ambaye uongozi wake unafungamana na maongezi ya kikabila ni adui wa umoja wa taifa. Alieleza wazi kwamba hakuna kabila ambalo lina imani kubwa zaidi kwake kuliko makabila mengine na kusema kwamba kiongozi anayedai kwamba kabila fulani lina imani kubwa kwake kuliko makabila mengine ni mwongo mkubwa.
English Translation
- President Moi says that any leader who’s leadership is tied to tribal leadership is the enemy of national unity. He made it clear that no tribe has faith greater to him than to the other tribes and to say that any leader that claims that one tribe has more faith in him than other tribes is a great liar.
