- The following issues appeared in the Nyota Africa Newspaper in the September of 1970 :Thousands of money will be poured into Zanzibar ‘sstadium for next year’s East African Challenge Cup at Mao Tse-Tung Stadium ,secondly,The Kenyan government and the National Christian Council of Kenya churches have opened an orphanage built with wooden huts and mud and grass roofs along Lake Rudolf.
