- Rais Mzee Jomo Kenyatta ameshauri kwamba wananchi wafanye juhudi ya kupanda miti ili kuifanya nchi ionekane nzuri na pia kujenga Taifa. Katika hotuba yake Rais amesifu makazi ya Shimba Hills akisema kwamba ni ya kutoa mfano mzuri wa jinsi watu wa makabila mbalimbali wanavyoweza kuishi pamoja katika taifa la Kenya.
English Translation
- President Mzee Jomo Kenyatta has advised that citizens should make an effort to plant trees to make the country look good and also to build the Nation.
- In his speech, the President has praised the Shimba Hills residence, saying that it sets a good example of how people of different ethnic groups can live together in the nation of Kenya.
