- Serikali imechapisha hati yenye lengo la kurekebisha Sheria za Mahakama ya Kodi za Nyumba ili kuyawezesha mahakama hayo yasimamie kodi za nyumba kufikia kiwango cha shilingi 2,500 kwa mwezi , badala ya shilingi 800 kama ilivyo sasa. Hati hiyo ikipitishwa na Bunge itawalinda baadhi ya WaKenya wanaoishi katika nyumba za kukodisha kutokana na kupandishwa kodi hizo mara kwa mara na matajiri.
English Translation
- The government has published a document aimed at fixing Rules of Court of House Taxes to enable the courts to manage house taxes to reach the level of 2,500 shillings per month, instead of 800 shillings as it is now. If the document is approved by Parliament, it will protect some Kenyans who live in rented houses from frequent tax increases by the rich.
