- the Christian Council of Kenya opened a reading room and library at Consulate Chambers, Racecourse Road, Nairobi, and Rev.Din Dayal eventually left for India. He was well known in East Africa as the founder of the Eastleigh Community Centre in Nairobi and the first missionary of the United Church of North India.
