Kenya’s first elections were held; second, McGraw, a leading American publisher, is offering a prize of $5,000 for the best manuscripts dealing with developing-country problems submitted in a global contest; and third, Kimani wa Nyoike, the Executive Director of the African Student Service in America, wanted to aid education and, most importantly, urges students not to spend more time than is necessary as they are to greatly benefit Africa.
