Kenya Technical Teachers College (KTTC) and Kenya Science Teachers College ordered to double their trainee teachers intakes next year.
Issuing the order, the Minister for Education, Mr Peter Oloo Aringo said only a double intake would stem a crisis of Shortage of technical and science teachers facing the country at the moment.
Mr Aringo ordered KTTC to be centralised as the major technical institution in the country in order to provide enough technical teachers for the national polytechnics.
