- President Daniel Arap Moi and Nigerian head of State Gen Ibrahim Babangida agreed on a comprehensive bilateral relations package which they directed to be finalized immediately at a ministerial level. The agreements include culture, education, trade and a wider air transport system which would have to be effected before the end of the year.
