The government of Kenya is already aware of the need to inform the public fully about what went on August 1 and how the whole coup attempt was organised and carried out. Mr. G.G. Kariuki ,the minister for lands and physical planning,has called for an open public trial whether civil or court martial so as to allay the fears of the public that there might be an attempt at a cover up.
