- The Roman Catholic church in Kenya made its position on the political situation in Kenya known when it released its annual pastoral letter in April. The National Council of Churches of Kenya (NCCK) made public its own much lengthier document called “A Kairos in Kenya”and calling for a hastening of the pace of political reform in the country.
