The question of should there be a law about burial, rose when chairman of National Council of Women of Kenya (NCWK) prof. Wangari Mathai called a press conference to make it known that the council would petition the attorney general and the law reform commission on the need for legislation regulating the rights of spouses and nect-of-kin with regards to the burial of a deceased person.
