- Following the passage of the act amending Kenya’s constitution to make the country a one-party state by law, the ruling party Kanu is currently conducting a campaign throughout the country to explain the amendment to the people and particularily to allay any fears that might exist that the one-party state constitutional amendment means less freedom to Kenyans.
