President Daniel arap Moi led a practical demonstration in soil and water conservation. The demonstration which involved ministers, members of parliament and other governmental officials, was the high point of the national soil and water conservation week. The week which was declared three years ago , is an annual event in which the whole population of the country is supposed to participate in different activities geared towards conservation of soil, water and forests.
