Over the years, the third world has discussed the specter of nuclear war as if it is something which only affects the superpowers or developed nations. The most that has been done is to ask that our various regions be declared nuclear-free zones as if by so doing we would nbe immune to the dangers which face mankind as a result of the senseless accumulation of nuclear weapons. However, we in the third world ought to join forces with all other who fight for nuclear disarmament , for we make up the majority of the human race.
