Yet another coup attempt has been staged in Ghana, mercifully unsuccessfully but regrettably resulting in loss of life. One begins to lose count of the changes since Ghana ushered in the era of political independence on the continent of Africa. What one does not lose sight of is the relentless deterioration of a once-proud nation that now is politically and economically as low as a nation can possibly get and still be called a nation.
