- Mr.W.McLellan Wilson presented a memorandum explaining the situation of land occupation in the Kiambu area in 1900 when he first had personal knowledge of the district .He stated that in 1902 when he took up his present farm there were no Kikuyu nearer than three or four miles,and they were only the adventurous of the tribe.
