Encouraged by the belief it has the support of the western Powers,the Fascist Government of Salazar is through its agents engaged in increasing its repressive activities in order to crush the nationalists liberation movement in Goa.Volunteers reaching the Goa border in pursuance of the satygraha campaign are being mercilessly beaten up and bullets are being used to curb the non-violent satygrahis.
