  • Stacey Walter Drury Colls, the Director of Civil Aviation, was sent to prison for two years in Nairobi by the acting Senior Resident Magistrate I.Rosen who found him guilty on three charges of theft, corruption and false accounting. He was acquitted on two other corruption charges.
  • Mr. Rosen said that Colls was not a witness of truth and had given false, incredible and contradictory statements.
  • He said he had no hesitation for his own greedy ends in tainting other people in the court and he did not think that Colls was entitled to sympathy.
